DJ Paul had a silly arrest last night in the Big Apple, child’s play compared to what some of his fellow entertainers have been arrested for (Nelly and his heroin-filled tourbus, for example?). Unfortunately, it’s going to tarnish his previously clean record, but he plans to fight the charges. “I honestly didn’t know it was illegal,” Paul told TMZ. “I thought it was at the same level as pepper spray.” I can agree with him there, though it does seem a bit more serious than some spray, no? LOL. He also made quite a valid point that he was on his own without his bodyguard, and a city like Manhattan is not somewhere you just want to walk around without protection when you’re a person of notoriety. As far as the open Corona, he didn’t comment on it but it’s not exactly a heinous crime. More like an, “Oops!” kind of situation. I’m sure the Three 6 Mafia member will be just fine.
