More than a decade after the 9/11 attacks, the family of Anna Laverty can finally lay the terror victim to rest.
The Medical Examiner announced Thursday that it had identified the remains of the 52-year-old Middletown, N.J. mom, who was killed when the South Tower collapsed.
Laverty is the 1,634th victim from the al Qaeda attack on the World Trade Center to be identified, officials said.
She worked as a legal secretary at the Fiduciary Trust Company, and was the married mother of a now-grown daughter named Deena.
Of the 2,753 people killed in the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, only 1,119 remains have not been identified.
