John Doe has been bagged. The balding, mustachioed suspect in the serial killings of three Brooklyn shopkeepers has been charged in all three murders after confessing to two of them, a police source said.
Salvatore Perrone, a door-to-door dress salesman cops had dubbed “John Doe Duffel Bag” in reference to the bag he toted in surveillance footage, did not reveal a motive for the killings even as he admitted two of them, a law enforcement source said. Cops said a .22-caliber sawed off rifle found in his duffel bag at his girlfriend’s Midwood home was used in all the homicides. After being questioned by detectives for hours, Peronne copped to the slayings of Mo of Mohammed Gebeli, 65, in Bay Ridge and Isaac Kadare, 59, in Bensonhurst, the source said.
