Over the past few weeks, Apple has been criticized by media in China for being arrogant towards consumers in China. Apple apologized to Chinese consumers on Monday for poor communication over its warranty policy and said it will change the terms for some of its iPhones sold in China. Tim Cook said in a letter, “We are aware that a lack of communications…led to the perception that Apple is arrogant and doesn’t care or attach enough importance to consumer feedback,”
He Continued, “We express our sincere apologies for any concerns or misunderstandings this gave consumers.” Both the media and government of China have accepted the company’s apology.
