Succumbing to the extreme pressure from womens’ groups and various other protestors, Reebok finally dropped Rick Ross today over his controversial “date rape” lyrics on Rocko’s “U.O.E.N.O.” The more interesting part of it is that they didn’t seem to really drop him over the actual lyrics…it’s over his lack of remorse. Every time he offered an “apology,” it was more like an, “I’m sorry you think that way,” but not an “I’m sorry I talked about date rape.” He denied he meant rape, but never explained what it is he actually meant. Yet and still, many feel for him in the situation, and that includes Houston rapper Slim Thug. He took to Twitter to go in about his feelings toward it. Check out what he said in the gallery.
