Location services can be good to have on when searching for a restaurant near you or even getting turn by turn directions from Google maps. Sometimes it can be a bad thing to have on certain apps like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. People can easily stalk your every move and if its someone with bad intent, actually harm you. Recently there was a story about rapper, Chief Keef allegedly leaving his geo tracking on his phone and it allowed his rivals to know exactly where he was. Those rivals threaten to harm his child. Now that’s Serious!!!
Turning off your location services is really easy, just go into your setting find the location services and simply turn the ones you want off. Be careful, some apps will ask if you want to turn location on, decline, and you can still turn them on later manually. I’d rather be safe than sorry.
