Weed

A Washington man was pulled over last year for speeding, and also got charged with minor marijuana possession. When marijuana was legalized in the last election, his charges were thrown out, but a judge has ordered for the police to give it back. Why?

The man provided his medical marijuana license and requested the confiscated weed back, and was granted it (that judge needs to be on the Supreme Court!) . But the cops refuse to give it back. If they don’t return it by May 2 it may go to higher courts. Does the police station even really have a small amount of confiscated weed from last year?
