Hot 97 celebrated 20 years of their annual Summer Jam concert last night and, as always, the show was INSANE! 55,000 people were in attendance at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, not to mention the TONS of people around the world that tuned in via the live stream. Of course I was there floating around backstage for the night, and I caught a lot of moments that went on behind the scenes! Here are my random tidbits seen and heard last night at Summer Jam XX:

*SEEN: Despite her rant about being “heartbroken” a couple weeks back, model/L&HH star Tahiry arrived with her boyfriend Joe Budden.
*SEEN/HEARD: Miguel giving tons of praise to 2 Chainz, saying the main reason he’s staying past his performance (he went on second, after Joe Budden) was to see 2 Chainz perform (who went on toward the end)
*SEEN/HEARD: Miguel explaining his rant about black people was unrelated to his leg-drop incident.
*OVERHEARD: Drake was supposed to come out on French Montana’s set for “Pop That,” but he cancelled last minute. According to Rosenberg on the morning show today, he reportedly got knee surgery this weekend.
*SEEN: Nicki Minaj never stepped foot in her dressing room. She was in and out like a robbery! LOL!
*SEEN: Basketball Wives star Draya arrived MAD early. Like, 2pm…and chilled backstage ALL night. Mind you, the show didn’t start until 6:30. (Disclaimer: obviously I saw this because I was there early too…but I had to, because I was working. LOL.)
*SEEN: Speaking of Draya… Though she arrived way before her rumored boo Meek Mill did, she was hanging out with him in Wale’s dressing room for a minute!
*SEEN: Karrueche was definitely by Chris Brown’s side backstage.
*SEEN: Emily B was with her man Fabolous.
*OVERHEARD: Foxy Brown was crying on the side of the stage, as she was supposed to be brought out by Fabolous alongside Lil Kim, but her hearing problem was truly an issue. That’s really sad!
*SEEN/HEARD: 2 Chainz telling J. Cole he’s not a fan of many rappers, but he definitely is a fan of Cole.
*SEEN/OVERHEARD: Jay-Z & Beyonce were definitely in the building last night. Word was they were supposed to come on sometime around Kendrick Lamar and French Montana’s set. I’m guessing the fact the show got cut short due to timing and lightning is the reason they didn’t perform.
*OVERHEARD: Big Sean was in the building somewhere, but never made it out as a surprise guest. My guess is he was going to be a part of French Montana’s set that was cut short.
*SEEN: A$AP Rocky brought a GANG of people with him. There was definitely some issues getting them all on stage. They eventually cleared it up, though.
*SEEN: Lil Kim’s booty was looking HUGE!
*SEEN: Yo, Summer Jam attendees…CONTROL YOUR LIQUOR! There were SO many slumped over, puking, f*cked up concert goers sitting in the Summer Jam Drunk Tank. It was hilarious…and sad.
