Although he did kill a prostitute, a man in Texas walked because a jury agreed that his actions were justified?! In 2009, the man pictured was about to handle his business with a 23 year old prostitute he met on craigslist. He gave her $150, then shot before she left his house, with out the two of them handling business. Gilbert’s attorneys argued that he wasn’t wrong, because he thought the fee he paid the girl would cover sex as well. The state permits the use of deadly force to “recover property during a nighttime theft.” SMH, dude had some good lawyers.
