Tons of artists would kill to get on Lil Wayne’s Young Money roster…but one 15-year-old singer wants the exact opposite. Torion Sellers has filed suit against Weezy and YM, saying he auditioned for Wayne when he was only 13 and was immediately signed, but Wayne promised to “record and release an album by Spring 2012” for the young singer but here we are in Summer 2013 aaaand…nada.
Torion is claiming abandonment and looking to get out of the contract, hoping the judge will approve it because he says Young Money forgot to get court approval of the contract they’d signed with a minor. A judge has yet to rule.
