cops shoot emotionally disturbed man in brooklyn

Police officers shot an emotionally disturbed man, who attacked them, on Saturday morning in Brooklyn. The 27 year old man was pounding on an empty police car in Bedstuy under the elevated train tracks on Broadway and Lewis Ave. The two cops, who were patrolling the subway station upstairs, ran downstairs to confront the suspect hitting their car. When the police confronted the suspect, the man broke his cane over the female officer’s head. This prompted her male partner to shoot the emotionally disturbed man in his shoulder. The suspect was so enraged, that he tried to jump out of the ambulance and had to be restrained by 20 police officers. Check out the video below to see footage of the incident.
