This past Super Bowl brought many people into town ranging from die-hard fans, to celebrities, and even pimps. With the latter came a huge breakthrough for FBI agents; they rescued 16 teenagers in the process. The children’s ages ranged from 13-17 years old and consisted of high school students and children reported missing by their parents.

The investigation had been going on for 6 months, prior to the bust. Ron Hosko, assistant director for the FBI’s Criminal Investigative Division, said “[that] high-profile special events, which draw large crowds, have become lucrative opportunities for child prostitution criminal enterprises.”

Seems so lucrative that one Florida woman decided to pimp out her 15-year-old daughter to pay her back rent…
