Dominique Ansel Infestation

For all you struggling with sweet tooth addictions…… this just might be the cure all needed to rid your lust for sweets permanently and jump start that summer diet you’ve been gabbing about. It looks like famed Soho Cronut Bakery, Dominique Ansel, is in a wee bit of hot water after the NYC Heath Department shut them down for rodent infestation?!

The “it” boy of American pastries, Dominique Ansel and his establishment are being slammed for the ‘A’ rating hanging up in the establishment’s window. Contradictory to the fact that recently a patron video taped vermin running across the floor during peak hours, mindfully avoiding being crushed under the heels of kitchen staff, which immediately caused NYC Health Department to close famed bakery’s doors.

Ansel issued a statement of his own that called the shut-down a reflection of his current status as the “It” boy of American pastry delicacies: “We often feel like we’re being looked at under a tremendous microscope,” he said. “No other bakery would’ve suffered as we did in a similar situation.”

To add insult to injury, an inspection last year found “evidence of live mice” and ruled that the kitchen was not “vermin proof,” but the bakery was not shut down. However, on Friday the NYC Health Department slapped the tell-tale yellow “Closed” sign on the patisserie “because of a severe mouse infestation that requires professional pest control services,” the agency said in a statement.

Umm… Ansel you have no one to blame but yourself for Ratatouille’s running wild. Get that fixed breh! No excuses. Watch video below:
