Could this be the reunion album we’ve all been waiting for? Not quite. But Justin Timberlake, Lance Bass, Chris Kirkpatrick, JC Chasez and Joey Fatone are back! Sort of.
The band’s record label pulled a “Beyonce” and secretly released a new album from the group today! The release was to top secret, even that the guys didn’t even know it was happening.
“I love when the record label doesn’t even tell you they are releasing a new ‘NSYNC album tomorrow! #TheyCare,” Lance tweeted with a photo of the Amazon description for The Essential yesterday.
The Essential is a two-disc compilation of the former boy band’s greatest hits throughout their career.
The “Beyonce” strategy seemed to work as the album is already out of stock on Amazon the day it came out.
