According to reports, Mariah Carey has dropped longtime music collaborator and Manger Jermaine Dupri and has been working with Kevin Liles.

Reports of Carey and Dupri come after news of disappointing sales on her latest album, Me. I Am Mariah … The Elusive Chanteuse.

The 14th studio album for the singer only sold 103,000 copies and this is after being released back on the 27th of May. The album fell of the Billboard 200 on August 9th.

Mariah Carey, her label and Kevin Liles all have refused to comment, however Jermaine Dupri had this to say.

“I’m a very hands-on person when it comes to my work,” Dupri tells Billboard in a statement. “I put my all into every project. But when I’m not allowed to do what I do, then I know it’s time for me to move on. Mariah and I enjoy working together and will continue to make great music together in the future.”

According to sources, nothing has been set in ink between Carey and Liles.
