Scottsdale police property-crimes detectives said they developed probable cause to arrest Chapman, and officers took him into custody Friday afternoon after stopping his car in northeast Scottsdale.

Chapman was booked on nine counts of organized retail theft and five counts of trafficking in stolen property, all felonies.

According to court docs obtained by TMZ Sports, Chapman only raked in $5,460 for the stuff … roughly ONE-THIRD of the retail value.
