Despite denying reports, it appears that Troy Ave’s team may have been behind the brutal fade “Tuesday” singer iLoveMakonnen caught during his CMJ performance last week in NYC. Troy and Makonnen got into a bit of a tiff on Twitter a few weeks back, after Troy remixed “Tuesday” and Makonnen wasn’t really a fan.

“Y’all for trash for them remixes,” Makonnen wrote. “That’s the worst, fake beats and sh*t, lord! Let it go. Bootleg game. I like the DJ remixes, the rapper remixes are eh.”

Troy responded with a threat, promising he’d “see about thum comments when we see u fat b#ch,” and it appears a member of his team really may have made good on it.
