Charles Barkley is a man of many words but none of those words will ever be shared by him on social media because in his own words, he “doesn’t wanna talk to those idiots”.
Charles Barkley is often drumming up criticism because of his opinions. His latest comments included his thoughts on the Michael Brown case and Ferguson. Barkley believes the grand jury handed down the right decision when they decided not to charge police officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of unarmed teenager Michael Brown. Barkley also called the Ferguson looters “scumbags”.
TMZ Sports caught up with Barkley at the airport in New York and asked him a series of questions. He spoke on the Philadelphia 76ers struggles and then got into the more heavier stuff. He says he’s going to continue speaking his mind because you can’t be worried about what everyone else thinks.
Among other things, Charles Barkley’s not on Twitter or any social media because he doesn’t want to speak to those idiots. Now there are A LOT of trolls on Twitter. People who hide behind faceless avis and make accounts solely to say things they wouldn’t dare say in person so I feel him on that note. Now as for him saying “I don’t feel the need to talk to every idiot in America,” there are some great ideas and thoughts also expressed on Twitter but to each his own.
