Evan Ross and his wife Ashlee Simpson Ross have much to celebrate this holiday season as the newlyweds are expecting their first child together.
E! News exclusively confirms that the Hunger Games: Mockingjay—Part 1 star will soon be a first time dad. His wife Ashlee Simpson is pregnant is the couple’s first child. The little one will be joined by Ashlee’s 6-year-old son Bronx with ex-husband/Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz.
Evan popped the question back in January while they were vacationing in Hawaii and wed eight months later on Aug. 31 at Diana Ross’ Greenwich, CT estate.
Just last month, Evan told E! News that he and his wife Ashlee were “working on” having a family. “I would like [having kids],” he said. “As many as possible!”
Ross added, “I got married, I have new music and I’m part of Hunger Games. It’s been a great year.” It looks he’s following in his famous mother’s footsteps. Ross released a new track titled “How to Live Alone.” It looks like 2015 is going to be a sensational year for the young star and his wife.
