The Golden State Warriors beat the Los Angeles Clippers 106-98 during ABC’s Sunday NBA broadcast. The highlight of the game for many was Stephen Curry vs. Chris Paul but the real rivalry occurred after the game. Draymond Green scored a game high 23 points so he was given the post game interview. During that interview Dahntay Jones walked past him and bumped him. Green looked like he was ready to unleash on Jones but kept his composure and saved his ether for his locker room interview.
“I think he wanted a reaction from me, but he don’t play, ” Green said.
“Me getting suspended and him getting suspended, it’s different. When you don’t play that’s probably his role on that team. I had that role before a couple years ago. I can’t afford to feed into that. I get fined, get suspended and hurt my team. When if he [Jones] gets suspended, they may not even notice.”
I definitely expect that to be reviewed by the NBA, for him to look at me and look at me again and bump me during the postgame interview. That’s really smart too, it’s on ABC”
“He got some camera time which he needed because there wasn’t much celebration from the bench today so you didn’t see him. He got the camera time he was looking for. Just expect it to be reviewed and see what happens.”
