(Audio) NBA: Draymond Green is #TeamRemy & Tired of Nicki Minaj Mentioning LeBron in Songs

During episode 5 of his “Dray Day” podcast, Draymond Green touched on a major subject in hip-hop right now, Remy Ma vs. Nicki Minaj.  Remy kicked things off by dropping shETHER, a 7-minute diss track aimed at Ms. Minaj.  Nicki finally responded weeks later with a couple bars on her hit song “No Frauds,” featuring Drake and Lil Wayne.  Most people have taken sides in the femcee battle and the Golden State Warriors’ star appears to be Team Remy.

The Warriors defeated the Clippers last night by a score of 123-113, thanks in part to a 50 point third quarter from the Warriors but there were plenty of side stories as well.

(Video) NBA: Flop or Nah? LeBron James & Draymond Green React to Green’s ‘Flagrant Foul’

LeBron James and Draymond Green went at it again.  You may remember that Green missed Game 5 of the 2016 NBA Finals after he delivered a kick to James’ lower region, something Green has been accused of doing repeatedly.  On Monday night, the Cavaliers and Warriors faced off again.  Golden State absolutely dominated the Cavaliers this time around with a 126-91 win.  James and Green had another incident as LeBron was running down the court on a fastbreak, Draymond tried to stop the freight train but his screen sent LeBron flying to the ground where he laid for a while.  Green was hit with a flagrant 1 foul.  He like many others felt James was flopping and he re-enacted LeBron flailing about.

photo credit: IFWT IG Draymond Green was PISSED last night with his Warriors teammates and he had every right to be. I was watching this game and fell asleep around the start of the 4th quarter, when the Warriors were in total control. I woke up in the middle of the night to see that they somehow blew a 24 point lead to a team that can’t score in the Memphis Grizzlies. Draymond was very upset with Kevin Durant at the end of regulation and he was still steaming after the game.

NBA: Draymond Green Has An Issue With Kristaps Porzingis And His Reasoning Makes No Sense

photo credit Draymond Green has become that annoying athlete that you know is good at what he does but you still can’t stand him. He routinely finds a way to make himself the center of attention, rather it be for his antics on the court or for the crap he’s always talking. Case in point would be a fake beef he created out of thin air with the Knicks young star, Kristaps Porzingis.

(Video) NBA: Gary Payton Says the NBA is Softer Now, But it’s a Good Thing

Draymond Green was hit with a flagrant 1 foul after accidentally kicking James Harden in the face.  Green has become known for these kicks, and was famously suspended during game five of the NBA Finals after delivering one of those kicks to the groin of LeBron James.  Green lashed out after the game, feeling that he was being targeted and his kicks are the natural reaction of his body and are unintentional.  Some people long for the basketball of the 80’s/90’s where the game was more physical and players weren’t penalized.  Gary Payton agrees the game is softer now, but he thinks it’s a good thing.
