_Jay Z Wins Sound Engineer's Lawsuit Claiming Co-Ownership To His Hit Songs

There has been a bunch of speculations that Jay Z’s new streaming company TIDAL has not been doing so well. Well, Jay Z decided to spend his Sunday afternoon on Twitter sharing some #TidalFacts, Maybe they will change your mind about the upcoming company. #IFWT!

It has been almost a full month since Jay z has launched his new Streaming company ‘Tidal’ and there have been a ton of reports on the downfalls of this new online music service. The Tidal App fell out of the top 750 apps on the iTunes store and some of the artists that are associated with the company haven’t really been showing the type of support that’s necessary. Though the downfalls look bad as is, the biggest one is probably the fact that Tidal sort of promotes music and video leaks (which is not okay.)

Well , no matter what YOU and others think of Hov’s new Streaming service , the rap legend took to Twitter to reassure fans that the service is doing “Just Fine”.

Jay Z has been doing a whole lot to promote this Tidal movement. The Brooklyn Native even had a Q&A speech over at NYU , which is way more major then your typical press run. Many have criticized the new streaming service , saying that it is way to similar to The competitor ‘Spotify’.

Jay Z has spoken out about how Tidal is way different because of how much it will help out the music industry. According to Jay, Tidal gives 75% of royalties to the artists which will put a value on music again and will help support your favorite artists make the music you want to hear. He also speaks on how unlike other streaming services , Tidal displays not just music, but also videos and live sports!

Hov shared that there is a program within the app which displays what your favorite artists are listing to and may even be a proper platform for independent musicians. There is no free subscription to Tidal, which I would imagine is the reason why many haven’t hopped on board yet but because its not free, actually supports the music industry 10 times more then illegally streaming online or using majority of other streaming services.

During Jay Z’s Q&A over at NYU, he was asked if Tidal was similar to a record label, considering its contribution with artists. Though it was a good question Jay Z replied ” Don’t disrespect us man. We have bigger ambitions than that.”

Hop into the post to see the series of tweets Jay z posted today about Tidal!

I’m telling you man, If you love Hip Hop , you have to help it out some, there is no use in illegally downloading your favorite artists . If anything that’s going to make your favorite rapper retire. I completely understand if you cant buy every album that you want, because people have there own situations, and so do we! But this is the new wave that will affordably allow you to pay for the art you love.

As appose to buying 5 albums in one month for (lets say) $15 each.

You are able to only spend $12 a month for an unlimited about of music and videos! C’mon! Lets put the work in!

B.I.G said it the best, ” We Cant Change the world unless we change ourselves”

So if were sick of ” Fake Hip Hop” then we need to support our “REAL HIP HOP”
