Ludacris will join Kelly Rowland, Marisa Tomei, Chris Rock, and others on Empire’s second season, he’ll apparently be playing a correctional officer alongside Terrence Howard’s newly incarcerated Lucious Lyon. Ludacris as you might remember, fought Howard in not one but two films released in 2005 Crash and Hustle and Flow.
Magic Mike XXL hunk Adam Rodriguez is set to play a love interest for Cookie, while Tyra Ferrell and The Wire star Andre Royo will play lawyers.
The second season of Empire premieres Wednesday, September 23 at 9pm on Fox.
