In a recent interview with VladTV, Ja Rule broke down his favorite diss records of all time. He quickly rattled off some of hip-hops most well respected diss tracks like, Boogie Down Productions’ “The Bridge is Over,” Nas’ “Ether,” Tupac’s “Hit Em Up,” Biggie’s “Who Shot Ya” — and Jay Z’s “Takeover.” However the conversation got a little more interesting when Ja Rule named Drake’s “Back to Back” his “sixth man off the bench.”

Check out what he had to say below.

Ja Rule continued to share his thoughts on why Drake’s record made such a huge impact when it came to diss tracks. He said,”I don’t think any other beef record was in rotation at radio. I can’t think of another one…I don’t think there’s been another record that did that.”

He then went on to compare Drake’s record to Meek Mill’s response “Wanna Know,” saying, “It wasn’t a record, Vlad, that’s the difference. Drake’s shit is a record, you know. Meek’s diss is more of a diss — like, you know, he had the skits in there with the Puff shit in there. That’s not something you could really play at radio, you know what I mean? Drake made a fucking record.”
