The Oklahoma City Thunder beat the LA Clippers 120-108 on Wednesday night. Russell Westbrook had an insane triple-double of 25 points, 11 rebounds and 20 assists while Kevin Durant put up a double-double of 30 points and 12 rebounds. There was one battle Durant lost however, and it sent it him doubled over in pain.
During the second quarter with Durant guarding him, Chris Paul was able to free himself and sink a 15-foot jumper. How he freed himself is the controversial part. Durant took a shot in a very sensitive area below the belt at the hands of Chris Paul.
It happened pretty fast and it’s difficult to tell if it was intentional but Paul has a reputation that proceeds him; it’s happened twice before.
