An off-duty cop has been found shot to death inside of a car. The car was found in a parking lot of a closed movie theater. Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew Carey says the Sayreville cop was found dead around 7:15 a.m. Monday.
A spokesman for the prosecutor, James O’Neill, says the department was investigating after hearing about a body found near the theater. The investigation is still pending. Lets keep this officer and the whole Sayreville Police Department in our prayers.
