Selena Gomez’ stepfather as well as the late Christina Grimmie’s manager, Brian Teefey, has raised more than $100K for the young slain singer’s family.

Not 36 hours removed from the tragic shooting that took another young life, Teefey wrote a heartfelt message along with his GoFundMe campaign to raise $4,000 in Christina Grimmie’s name – absolutely eclipsing the goal with love and support from fans:
“Words cannot begin to describe the pain I am feeling. I learned this business through the eyes of a father and Christina was like a second daughter to me. All I wanted to do was assist her in achieving her musical dreams while protecting her from the pitfalls associated with the business. I never could have imagined this horrific event being one of the pitfalls needing to be avoided. In Christina’s honor, I have created a GoFundMe page to assist her family in their time of need.”
Teefey signed Christina when she was just 14 years old and had obviously had a special place in Selena’s families hearts. As you can see above, the GoFundMe page reached way over the goal and is still growing. Selena gave an emotional performance in Christina’s name, fighting back the tears. What a weekend. Rest in peace Christina.
