NBA referees are often criticized for getting crucial calls wrong, especially this past postseason.  But would robots do better?

Stephen Curry weighed in during a Q&A at TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco last week and discussed refereeing in the NBA, citing his mouthguard throwing incident that got him booted from Game 6 of the NBA Finals.

From TechCrunch:

Curry also praised The Warriors’ aggressive push into training technologies like motion trackers. Asked what technology he’d be most interested in incorporating into his regiment, he joked, “One would be to just help me dunk more. I can’t do that. Something you can put in your calf.” As for whether he’d be okay with robots replaces refs, he added, “I would love that. But I would have to throw my mouthpiece at those new inventions.”
