Once again, 50 Cent is being sued by a man who claims he came up with the idea for Power. This has happened before with not only Power, but Empire as well. R. Byron Hord and Curtis Scoon claim that they pitched the show to 50 Cent in March of 2011, except theirs was titled Dangerous. It was about a black drug dealer attempting to turn his life around for the better, and included a Irish gangster friend and his girlfriend. Hord and Scoon are also suing Starz and parent company CBS, and are looking to get as much as $180,000 per episode.

We might have been seeing Amber Rose on our TV screen on Sunday nights alongside Ghost and Tommy, but she wasn’t able to give 50 Cent an answer quick enough. On the latest episode of The Amber Rose Show, Muva revealed to guest, O.T. Genasis, why her would-be role on Power never happened. “[50] asked me to do Power, so I was like , ‘Let me get with my team, figure out my schedule,’” Amber explained, laughing. “He was like, ‘You got 60 seconds to answer me, or you don’t get the job!’” Needless to say, she could not give him a quick answer, because as she puts it, she’s not “one of these convenient ass b*tches!” The story was told with a laugh, however, so she definitely didn’t take offense to the situation and appears to still have love for the outspoken rapper.
