Over the weekend, DJ Mustard made history at the BMI R&B/ Hip-Hop Awards. The talented producer who has helped create countless hits racked up a total of 12 awards during the show. Some of the awards he took home included “Publisher of the Year,” “Songwriter of the Year” and Producer of The Year” along with praise from some of his most popular songs including “2 On,” (Tinashe) “Don’t Tell ‘Em,” (Jeremih) “I Don’t F**ck With You,” (Big Sean) “Main Chick,” (Chris Brown) “My Hitta,” (YG) “Na Na,” (Trey Songz) “Paranoid,” (Ty Dolla Sign) “Who Do You Love?) (YG) “Show Me,” (Kid Ink) and “No Mediocre” (T.I).

Fetty Wap was the big winner of the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards but unfortunately for him, he couldn’t be in attendance to personally pick up his first ever moon man award! People seemed to be rather confused as to why Fetty wasn’t at the Microsoft Theater to claim his VMA award – beating Vance Joy in the “Artist to Watch” category. When I last checked, Fetty snagged the award with an impressive 70% of the vote while Vance Joy only received 30%.
