Royce Da 5’9, one fourth of rap group Slaughterhouse, spoke to Billboard recently and confirmed that the rap group’s second album is already six tracks in! This album will be the groups first on their new record label, Shady Records. Fellow Shady Records member Yelawolf also confirmed he will be releasing a new album soon. NYPD officers are now being investigated after they raided a home searching for a suspect and ended up raiding the wrong home. The officer then took a photo via Snapchat and posted it with the caption “Merry Christmas, its NYPD.” It took the officers three hours to realize they had the wrong home.

J Cole made an impact this week, announcing the release of his album 4 Your Eyez Only, scheduled to drop this Friday. The Crooked Smile MC spontaneously put out two videos, “False Prophets” and “Everybody Dies” and of course, fans went crazy. In the song “False Prophets”, J Cole seemingly comes at one of his idols, Kanye West for no longer being the honorable person he once was.
