Chrissy Teigen gifted the internet another hilarious meme, thanks to her reaction to Stacey Dash at this year’s Oscars. The supermodel looked quite perplexed as Stacey Dash made her way on to the stage, putting a stamp on exactly what we all were thinking. In an episode of Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live, Chrissy explained the moment that caused her priceless reaction. She said, “Our entire area was still talking about it and John [Legend] was explaining things to me,” Teigen explained to Andy Cohen. “It was just such an inside joke for Twitter, I felt like.” She continued saying that the room fell silent when Stacey Dash walked on stage “We thought the joke was him just saying her name.” LOL. Dash was given the roll of the new director of minority outreach by Chris Rock as part of a funny monologue. Im not sure many others considered this to be funny.


Public Enemy Pissed Off “Fight the Power” Was Played During the Oscars

Sunday night, Chris Rock hosted the Oscars and used his position as a platform to share and remind folks about the undeniable lack of diversity in Hollywood. At the end of the evening the Academy rounded out Rock’s statements by playing Public Enemy’s, “Fight The Power.” While their decision to use the anthem didn’t seem to make waves at the time, the group is now speaking out and is not too happy. TMZ spoke with Public Enemy’s Professor Griff who slammed the Academy saying, “The show can’t claim the blackness of Public Enemy’s message.” While Chuck D voiced his opinion via Twitter after the show saying, “The point of the song is a call to making change eventually not just applauding the thought.” Hit the jump for more.
