The New York emcee announced to the crowd his plans to release a new album for the summer. Over the last year, and during the process of this summer release, Nas has been working on many o’ things … the re-release of Time Is Illmatic, his appearance on Madonna’s “Veni Vidi Vici” and “Iconic” singles and so much more, but that just isn’t enough for us fans.

The 14-leg kickoff begins June 7 in Oakland at the Fox Theater and will roundup June 28 (MY BIRTHDAY) in Sayreville, New Jersey at the Starland Ballroom. Bruce Jenner’s transition has come as a surprise to most – can’t say that I was shocked – and for his children and step-children, there is still going to be an “adjustment period,” Kim Kardashian admits. During his Friday evening interview with Diane Sawyer, Jenner’s kids hit up social media to confess how “proud” they were that he could be so brave with his story. Even Kim went on the TODAY Show Monday morning, to state her feelings on the topic. “I’m really happy for him that he is living his life the way he wants to live it,” she told TODAY’s Matt Lauer. “And that he has found inner peace and just pure happiness. That’s what life is about.”

What better way to bring in your 38th birthday than to throw a “hot mess” themed birthday party! Actress Kate Hudson, who celebrated her b-day on April 23st, threw a huge private party in Pacific Palisades, California along with her fellow birthday buds Derek Blasberg and Jennifer Meyer. She had her fellow celebrity buds such as Jessica Alba and Sara Foster in the building, as well. Kate took on the role very literal of being a “hot mess” by sporting crazy hair, smeared make-up, fishnets, trucker hat, big boots and more. Blasberg poked fun at the event on his Instagram page with a photo that he captioned, “Last night me and these lovely ladies had a threesome birthday party and the theme was ‘Hot Mess’ and none of us needed to go shopping for costumes.” HA, love it!
