Miley Cyrus confirms that Tyler the Creator will be on her album, featured on a song co-written by Cyrus and Mary J. Blige. The former Hannah Montana star said that she isn’t trying to make hip hop records, but her older brother used to sneak her Nelly CD’s when she was younger. She made the song with Blige and Tyler heard it and told Miley “I am obsessed with this song, and I will guest on it if you promise me that you will keep it on the album.” According to Miley he killed it, and this song should show facets of all of her musical influences, from metal, to country, to hip hop. I don’t expect her to try and jump into the hip hop lane with Rihanna and Nicki, she says “That’s not my vibe.” Hit the jump for more.
Frank Ocean’s Producer Says Chris Brown Tried To Beat The Sh*t Out Of Frank
Frank Ocean released a statement yesterday saying he wouldn’t be pressing charges against Chris Brown for the fight they got into at a studio. Chris has since been cleared, by videotape, of any wrongdoing in the incident but Frank’s producer says that Chris tried to “beat the sh*t” of out Frank. Michael Uzowuru gave a detailed description of what happened and said that the fight did in fact begin over a parking spot. Uzowuru makes it seem like Chris and his boys jumped Frank, who he calls “Lonny.” At the end of his statement, Uzowuru said that he wishes the best for Chris, but I’m sure Frank doesn’t feel the same way. Wow! Bobbi Kristina Slams Cissy Houston’s Book
Smh, Whitney would hate this if she was still alive! Bobbi Kristina slammed her grandmother, Cissy Houston’s, book about her mother’s life. Bobbi told Cissy that she really didn’t want her to write a book, but Cissy did it anyway. Now, Bobbi is slamming her grandmother’s book calling it “disrespectful” to Whitney and herself. She said she won’t be reading it and says other people shouldn’t either. When Oprah asked Cissy if she knew Bobbi didn’t want the book written, she replied “That’s what I heard.” and claimed she attempted to send Bobbi the book before she released it but she couldn’t get it to her. Bobbi and Cissy’s relationship has been very strained since Whitney’s death almost a year ago and this book is straining it more. It’s such as shame that these two aren’t getting alone, but I agree with Bobbi on this one. If Bobbi, who was closest to her mother, asked for it not to be written it shouldn’t have been written. Lil Wayne Weighs In On Nicki Minaj & Mariah Carey Beef
Lil Wayne was at a Trukfit meet and greet and was asked a few things including how he feels about Nicki Minaj’s beef with Mariah Carey. Wayne was asked how he likes Nicki on “American Idol,” but he hasn’t watched the show at all. That’s not really surprising to me, remember when he said he didn’t listen to either Drake or Nicki’s album? Wayne did say that he heard there was a lot of talent on AI. Ironically, Nicki was the one who told him not to watch the show because he wouldn’t like it. During the interview, he weighed in on how he feels about the Nicki/Mariah beef. Read what he said below.

Adele is sending her mom, Penny Adkins, a HUGE thank you for everything she’s done. Adkins, who raised Adele alone, held down two jobs, just trying her best to encourage her daughter to keep singing. The Skyfall singer has handed over a London apartment to her mother, worth just under $1 million! The apartment was worth a grand total of $950,000.00. Adele also owns a $8.8 million home in the same Notting Hill neighborhood and is also renting a house in Beverly Hills. Her relationship with her fabulous ‘mum’ is nothing like her relationship with her estranged father. She hasn’t seen her father in 2 years and won’t even let poor gramps come near his little grandchild (which she’s super overprotective of, see photos below!)
Kelly Clarkson Said WHAT About Beyonce’s Lip Synching?!
Beyonce’s lip-synching gate has made more headlines than the Inauguration itself. As you know, Bey decided to sing to a back track when she sang at President Obama’s second Inauguration. Beyonce said that she chose to sing to the back track because of the lack of sound-check, the weather was bad, she didn’t want to tarnish the day, and that she was saving her voice for her Superbowl performance. We all know Bey can see so I still don’t understand what the big deal is, but I haven’t seen an issue in the back track singing since it happened. Kelly Clarkson, who did sing live at the President’s Inauguration is now speaking out about Bey’s choice. What Kelly said really isn’t shocking to me, judge for yourself below.
