You don’t have to be in the music industry to know that everyone who touches a project, album, song, or whatever gets a piece of the pie. FlyLo feels that today’s producers are getting screwed more than ever, specifically Metro Boomin’.
Missy Elliott has been tapped as the face of Marc Jacobs’ Fall 2016 campaign. This comes just one day after VH1 announced that the legendary rapper, singer and producer will be honored at this year’s Hip-Hop Honors ceremony, alongside Queen Latifah and other influential women in the genre. Her lyrics have also been chosen to appear on Sprite cans for the summer. Missy’s back like she never left! “From the moment I heard The Rain back in 1997, I was entranced by the genius rhythms and brilliant rhymes of Missy Elliott,” Jacobs says. “Missy’s music has kept me and my design team happily energized through countless weekdays, weeknights and weekends during those long hours of sketching, fitting, styling and doing looks.” So much TRUTH! He feels like fashion really influences his own work, and he has strong opinions on that.”

In 2002, Mariah Carey and Cam’Ron joined forces for “Boy (I Need You)”, Mariah’s remix of Cam’s smash single, “Oh Boy.” Now some 14 years later, the pair linked back up over the weekend in Las Vegas, with Cam attending Mariah’s in-house residency. No word on if they performed together, but if they did, I’m SICK that I missed it! Check out the comparison from then and now in the gallery, along with Cam’s hilarious caption on the above photo. Looks like he’s trying to get that threesome popping off, LOL!
