OMG!!! Google HAS To Do WHAT!!!

Google has agreed to pay $7 million in one of the largest fines for violating privacy. The fine for collecting people’s personal data without authorization as part of its Street View service. As part of the settlement, Google must educate employees about the privacy of consumer data and sponsor a public service campaign to teach people how to secure their wireless networks. So THIS T-Mobile Deal Is Done Huh?!?!

Today, the FCC approved the merger between T-Mobile and MetroPCS. With the $1.5 billion merger, T-Mobile USA and MetroPCS will share network resources, but will continue to operate for now as separate brands. FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski said “Today’s action will benefit millions of American consumers and help the U.S. maintain the global leadership in mobile it has regained in recent years.” The deal still has to be approved by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States since T-Mobile is owned by Germany’s Deutsche Telekom but there should have no problems of the deal being approved.

Android Tablets On Pace To Outsell iPads In 2013!!!

More bad news is coming Apples way, the Samsung GS IV is the mobile device Apple is probably afraid of. Now its seems Android Tablets are going to outsell iPads in 2013. According to the IDC projects that Android will take a 48.8% share of the tablet market in 2013, a big jump from last year. The jump in sales according to IDC for Android Tablets, PRICE. I guess people dont want to shell out big bucks for Tablets. Devices like the Galaxy Note 8.0, the Nexus 7 and the Kindle Fire HD have helped Google push the Android OS. Does Apple have to change things fast?“One in every two tablets shipped this quarter was below 8 inches in screen size,” says IDC analyst Jitesh Ubrani. “Vendors are moving quickly to compete in this space as consumers realize that these small devices are often more ideal than large tablets for their daily consumption habits.”

WHO Is Thinking About Buying BlackBerry?!?!

It looks like Lenovo, known for its PCs, is thinking about buying Blackberry. Chief Executive Yang Yuanqing of Lenovo told a French newspaper that his company may consider purchasing BlackBerry. Yang Yuanqing said that a deal with BlackBerry “could possibly make sense, but first I need to analyze the market and understand what exactly the importance of this company is.”

Here’s WHY Blackberry & Windows Phones Are Losing!!!

There are litteraly thousands of apps available that do an array of things but how many of these apps do you actually use? There maybe only a handful you probably use on a daily basis. IOS and Android are the top two operating systems that offer so many apps and now Blackberry 10 and Microsoft’s Windows 8 are fighting to be number 3. More than likely Blackberry 10 and Windows 8 phones will not have all the apps you would want. We have previously reported on Netflix and Instagram will not be apps for to Blackberry 10 OS. With these new operating systems its not enough users for developers to benefit from creating app that works on them.
