An apartment surveillance camera captured the unfortunate attack of a 62-year-old Bronx woman. The perp grabbed the woman from behind in the Bedford Park building, threw her to the floor, and fought with her before fleeing the scene. Luckily, the woman wasn’t hurt too badly. 62-Year-Old Woman’s 2nd Attempt At Swimming From Cuba To Florida
62-year-old Diana Nyad is trying to make history by being the first female endurance swimmer to swim from Cuba to Miami. This is the Nyad’s second attempt after her first one failed when she was bitten by a shark. During this attempt, Nyad suffered a bad jellyfish sting at around the half way mark which is 113 miles. Nyad pauses every 45 and 90 minutes to rest and refuel with food handed to her from assistants which follow her by boat.
