Auto:(Auto Show Pics) The Acura NSX Concept Car

This is one of the sickest concept cars in years that will actually see the production line (eventually). We all love concept cars, but we also all know most of them are made just for show and will never hit the road. This Acura NSX will be in a dealership near you, even though it is still most likely a couple years away. In my opinion this car gives the Audi R8 a run for its money based on the look. This concept was actually shown around last year, but Acura had the windows heavily tinted and did not allow the doors to be open. So this is the first time we are really getting a good look at the interior, and it definitely does not disappoint! Not many details have been released as of yet, but I am sure this car will be full of technological advances you can only dream of. Did I mention this is a hybrid? Kinda puts all other hybrids to shame. Take a look at the gallery and see for yourself. IamJOE357

Auto:(Video) Acura About To Be Traded In Burst Into Flames??

I hope this guy really was not about to trade his car in. At an Acura dealer in Canada, according to the video a customer is there to trade in his Acura TL to something new. While the car is sitting outside the dealership it catches flames and there goes any chance of doing a trade in. The person filming the fire turns out works at a Lexus dealership next door and recommends the customer might want to switch to Lexus, lol. Watch the video after the jump. IamJOE357

Auto Talk: New Acura design chief admits company went “a little overboard” with The Beak

Automotive News reports Toshinobu Minami, the new head of global design for Acura, says the company may have gone “a little overboard at some points” with the company’s shield grille. Minami said Acura has had bad feedback on the design from multiple directions, but says the company isn’t going to “buckle under that pressure.” Instead of scrapping the beak design all together, the designer wants to keep the corporate look while simultaneously reaching further out toward a premium design language. Honda, meanwhile, will receive models with a sportier and more active-looking exterior. Acura recently debuted more demure interpretations of the shield grille on models like the ILX and the NSX Concept. Funk Flex
