NFL: Arizona Cardinals Hire Bruce Arians As New Coach
Remember about 2 weeks ago when we did a story the day 7 coaches wound up getting fired in the NFL the first Monday after the regular season was over, called “Black Monday”? Remember later that week, one more coach was fired to bring the total to 8? Well with the Cardinals hiring Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians, that officially closes the last coaching spot that was still open. Things move fast in the NFL, and it is not always the game itself. Arians made the most out of an unexpected opportunity. He was promoted to Colts interim head coach for most of the season while Head coach Chuck Pagano underwent cancer treatment. In his absence the Colts went 9-3 with a rookie quarterback. NFL: Darnell Dockett on Future With the Cardinals: ‘I’m never going to be anywhere I’m not wanted’
The 4-9 Arizona Cardinals are having a tough season amongst their quarterback struggles and now an issue with defensive lineman Darnell Dockett. He was recently fined $200,000 for conduct detrimental to the team after he argued with teammate Kerry Rhodes and defensive coordinator Roy Horton during a loss to the New York Jets. Dockett later said he would continue to play hard for Horton and his fellow defensive lineman, but gave a “no comment”when asked about head coach Ken Whisenhunt. Read more after the jump. Shay Marie

NFL: Team Fines Player Six Figures For What??
During last week’s loss to the terrible New York Jets, it seems some Arizona Cardinals players might of taking their frustration out on their own teammates. Sources are saying the defensive lineman Darnell Dockett literally spit in the face of safety Kerry Rhodes. Rhodes has tried his best to take the high road and deny that Dockett did that to him, however judging by the size of the fine the Cardinals are about to drop on Dockett, it is very clear something happened between the players.
