Blake Griffin posted his first career triple-double and Eric Gordon scored 32 points to help the Clippers beat the Wizards 127-119 in double OT on Wednesday night.

NBA: Blake Griffin takes up for coach Jeff Capel; Like a slap to the face
Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl Joe Castiglione called his decision to fire Oklahoma Sooners coach Jeff Capel “a change of direction.” And while Capel said in a statement he considers OU a “first class institution and an excellent place to coach,” former Sooners standout Blake Griffin thought Capel’s firing was more like a slap to the face.

Blake Griffin aka Blakemon tweeted earlier this week that he is going to a Nike Photo shoot. So it looks like Nike is casting Blake Griffin as Spike Lee’s famous Mars Blackmon character. Kia making commercial out of Blake Griffin’s weak sauce dunk
The NBA All-Star Weekend has come and gone. As usual, the big story from basketball’s all-star break comes from the dunk contest. Depending on who you talk to, it was either a showcase of creative new stuff or an overload of weak-sauce prop dunks. Regardless, Kia is surely thrilled with the attention it’s own all-star Optima received. In fact, the automaker is so thrilled that footage of the dunk will be used in an upcoming commercial. @funkmasterflex
