When a player joins a new team and returns to play against their old team, they usually get booed; well depending on how they left. Turner was traded from the Philadelphia 76ers to the Indiana Pacers before joining the Boston Celtics. NBA: Rajon Rondo Says He & Kobe Bryant Were Just Two “Assholes Having Breakfast”
Back in January when the Los Angeles Lakers were facing the Boston Celtics, Kobe Bryant was asked how would Rajon Rondo handle the rebuild in Boston. Bryant replied, “From what I understand he’s an asshole like me, so he’ll manage.” Rondo was flattered by Bryant’s comment. “That’s a great compliment coming from Kobe,” Rondo said. “I feel the same way about him.” On Friday night the two teams faced off again but this time the two stars met beforehand and their assholeness came together.

Boston Celtics point guard, Rajon Rondo, met up with LA Lakers, Kobe Bryant, this morning to grab some breakfast. Might I add, those pancakes and bacon looked delightful LOL! The breakfast definitely sparked attention and rumors from all over, especially right after Sports Illustrated revealed Lakers’ interest in Rondo upon becoming a free agent after this season.
