And the #DRAMA continues. Cassidy has officially done it. He’s being talked about again. This time he’s in NC on BIG Tyme TV running the same ol’ story as to why him and Meek began the DISS records. He’s saying that REPO wasn’t even a diss record. It was one of Meek’s regular “party records” that he usually puts out. Ok, Cass so we know that you can battle…you got that, but this game in NOT about battling. At the end of the day these BIG wigs behind the music scene want to make records that’s going to make money. Knock It Off! But yea, on another note this fella named Shorty Mac is threatening MMG. “MBK (Mayback Killers) until you cut the check. Cassidy is good. I am going to need this to end! Should Meek respond to Cassidy’s R.A.I.D. ??? I think NO, but that’s NOT because Cassidy said NOT to. Despite anything Cass says, he wants Meek to respond. He wants this to go back and forth, because let’s be honest, THIS IS BIG! One of the most talked about beefs is this one right here and as long as it keeps going Cass will be talked about. Cassidy is real ill about this whole situation. You only can go in for 10 minutes when you’re steamed – that is him. Don’t get me wrong I’m #teamMEEK, but I respect Cass. He did do GREAT music, but bring it back another way. Any how (I can go all day with this one), Cassidy calls into 107.9 Atlanta and mentions that this is NOT a street beef. He seemed somewhat respectable of Meek. Cass’s long-time friend, AR-AB went in on a video and said some things that a friend shouldn’t say about another, so Cass mentions how they talked out there differences (the two are still cool). Meek Mill Tweets Reaction To Cassidy Diss “R.A.I.D.”
Yesterday, we premiered Cassidy’s “R.A.I.D. (Robert Ass Is Dead The CockRoach Burial), which was Cassidy’s fire back to Meek’s “Repo.” Although Meek’s track left many people unsatisfied, Cassidy’s seems to be a bit more on the struggle side. In the beginning of the 10 minute track, Cass has a snippet of Meek praising Cass’ battle skills. During, “R.A.I.D.,” Cassidy brings up Meek’s early beginning followed by saying the “but in jail was the only time I hung around a C.O.,” along with the infamous Rick Ross grunt over classic beats Gang Starr’s “You Know My Steez,” Jay-Z’s “U Don’t Know,” Mobb Deep’s “Eye For An Eye,” and the Notorious B.I.G.’s “Kick In The Door.” Meek took to both his Twitter and Instagram account to express his feeling about the diss track. I have to agree with Meek on this one, if it wasn’t for him many people would still be saying “Cassidy, who?” and I think both diss tracks left much to be desired.
