This Jordan 1, released almost exactly 13 years ago, was a favorite among many sneakerheads, although most were not lucky enough to grab a pair. The “All Black” Jordan 1 was released on New Years 2001 in Japan only. The shoe features an all black leather upper, the logos appear in silver and it came with a Chrome Jumpman. If this shoe dropped today do you realize how crazy it would be? You see how people act for some all black kicks, quick example… the Gamma 11’s. Hot dog stand Gray’s Papaya has been a STAPLE of New York’s 6th Avenue and 8th Streets for so many years, but it has officially closed its doors for good. Nicholas Gray, the proprietor of Gray’s Papaya, speaks about the shuttering of his beloved Greenwich Village hot dog stand. A demolition crew was spotted tearing the location apart yesterday, which came as a shock to all with no prior announcements or even news of a decline in sales. Today, the reason why has been revealed. “They wanted to raise my rent to $50,000 from $30,000,” owner Nicholas Gray said in a statement. “We’re always looking for corners, but they’re hard to find.” Cold world!

(Photos) Bronx Tale: Chazz Palminteri Returns Home For A Little Positivity!

The Bronx Tale was one of the “greats” of New York based movies (Sonny’s voice). The Belmont native Chazz Palminteri, who played the crime boss in the film, has now returned to his old neighborhood to perform his one man show, “The Bronx Tale”. It will take place October 17th at Lehman college. All proceeds will go to Palminteri’s charity, Children’s Reach Foundation. To read more and see pictures, click below.
