Jay-Z and his best friend Chris Martin’s band, Coldplay, rang in 2013 with a crazy concert at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Coldplay started off the night before Hov took the stage in a dark tuxedo. Once midnight hit, Chris joined Jay on stage for “Auld Lang Syne.” During his 25-song-set, Jay said how great 2012 was a great year for him between the birth of his daughter to the Barclays Center opening. The rapper also said “I’m from Brooklyn, just thought I’d remind you we’re going to rule the world in 2013. And in order to do that don’t let anybody hold you back or put their anxieties or fears on you,” before giving some fans some of his champagne. Watch some footage in the gallery. Julie A.
Azealia Banks Makes Bombshell Accusation That Coldplay’s Manager Put His Hands On Her Multiple Times!

Coldplay Calling It Quits?!
Bad news for Coldplay fans, the band is calling it quits for a while. They announced at their Brisbane, Australia show that it would be their last major show for at least three years, even though that’s not fully true. The group has a few shows lined up leading up to their New Years Eve show with Jay-Z in Brooklyn but after that, they are done for a while. Their last show in Australia was rated one of the city’s best next to Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen, Robbie Williams, and more. Read more below. Julie A.
