It was a big game 6 for the Brooklyn Nets and the Toronto Raptors. A loss would eliminate the Nets from the playoffs and a win would send them to game 7 in Toronto. The Nets came out strong and pulled off a 97-83 win. The whole focus wasn’t entirely on the game however but who was at the game took over. Former Nets minority owner Jay Z came through with his wife Beyonce and Raptors ambassador Drake was there as well. It was an interesting sight considering Hov and Drake’s recent jabs at each other through music as well as Drake calling Jay Z out for missing game one.

Deron Williams helped the Nets trounce the Raptors to force game 7 & Drake took to Instagram afterwards (again). Lil Wayne is gearing up to release the highly-anticipated Tha Carter V, and though we don’t have a release date just yet…we are getting some hints at what to expect! It looks like he’ll be getting help from none other than his fellow YMCMB member, Drizzy Drake, on what appears to be the first single off the project, “Believe Me.” During a portion of his #WeezyWednesdays series, Wayne posted a video of himself and Drake in the studio, the same video was shared by Mayweather earlier in the day as well. Weezy revealed the title and cover art during his Weezy Wednesday episode. Earlier this week, Mayweather and Kobe Bryant had been dropping hints with the hash tag #BelieveMe. Hmmmm, Fif told Funk Flex that he wasn’t taking sides in the Drake/Jay Z beef, but it looks like he’s supporting Drake’s team when it comes to basketball. 50 Cent was courtside rocking a Raptors hat as the Raptors beat the Brooklyn Nets 115-113 to take a 3-2 lead in their first-round series.
