Uhhh…What?! Guess What Young Thug Will Name His Debut Album!

Young Thug recently made his record deal with YMCMB/Rich Gang official, and as big of a deal as that already is, it’s even bigger to the ATL rapper than we realize. While talking to FADER down at SXSW last week, Thugger revealed that Lil Wayne is his favorite rapper in the world, and that he has completely influenced him in every way. “I won’t listen to nothing else,” he said at the FADER Fort. “The fact that that n*gga got like 100 M’s and he still raps every day? It’s amazing.” So – with his obvious affinity for controversy and getting the people talking, it may not come as TOO much of a surprise that he’ll be naming his debut studio album, Tha Carter VI. He’s so crazy! “I just feel like I’m that big,” Young Thug told DJ Whoo Kid on Shade 45. “Because [Wayne] feels like after Tha Carter V, he won’t make no more music because he feel like can’t nobody make no music like that.” Check out both Whoo Kid and FADER’s interviews below for full details. What do you think of his album title?
