NBA Fines JR Smith $25,000 For Inappropriate Photo of Tahiry On Twitter

NFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers Fined $250K For Contact With Players During the Lockout

NFL teams were under strict orders not to contact the players during the NFL lockout.  That was a little difficult considering this isn’t just a business for many league officials and players.  They are also friends and its hard to not speak to each other when momentous occasions occur like the birth of a child.  Unfortunately for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers they were fined $250,000 for allegedly having contact with players during the lockout, an NFL source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.  Read more after the jump. @Shay_Marie x @gametimegirl


(Video) NFL Threatens Fines & Bans For Faking Injuries

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl This comes after the NY Giants were caught/accused of faking injuries during Monday Night Football against the Rams (check the video if you haven’t seen it after the jump). The NFL sent a memo Wednesday to all 32 teams warning of fines, suspensions and loss of draft picks if the league determines players faked injuries during a game. In the memo obtained by The Associated Press, the NFL reminded teams of league policy that calls on coaches to discourage the practice, and that there was no specific rule on the topic.
