In January 2011, powerhouse songstress Jazmine Sullivan announced via Twitter that she’d be taking a hiatus from music, with no further details as to how long fans would have to wait for her return. “i’m trying to figure out who i am… w/out a mike, paper or pen,” she explained in her tweets. “i promised myself that when it wasn’t fun anymore i wouldn’t do it. and here i am. i’m not saying i wont ever sing again in my life becuz i dont believe that. but in this moment… rt now… i got some things to figure out.” A little over 3 years later, the “Bust Your Windows” singer is finally back! Taking the stage in London over the weekend, Jazmine played a sold-out show performing her hits like “Lions, Tigers & Bears” and “Bust Your Windows,” as well as a cover of Daft Punk and Pharrell’s “Get Lucky.” After telling the crowd she was “glad to be back,” Jaz also reportedly revealed that she is working on her third album and will be dropping the first single soon.
