Lil Wayne’s Release Partiez club tour rolled through his hometown of New Orleans last night, and it was a nostalgic night for all as it became a mini Hot Boyz reunion with both Mannie Fresh and Juvenile on stage. (This is the second time Tune and Mannie shared a stage in the last week, as he performed with him in Miami during Ultra.) Christina Milian was in the building supporting her boo as well…so I’m guessing her daughter Violet was with daddy for the Easter holiday. Check out pics and video from the night below!

Hot Boys Member, Turk, Responds To Drake Being Considered As A Part Of Big Tymers Reunion
About a year ago, Lil Wayne hinted that there could possibly be a Big Tymers reunion album. Back in their heyday, the “Still Fly” crew consisted of Birdman and Mannie Fresh. The similarities between the rumored reunion and the original group would only be between the “Big Tymers” name and Birdman — Mannie Fresh wasn’t mentioned. Wayne was quoted saying that they’d be “adding Drake.” Day 1 Hot Boy, Turk, made it clear that he wasn’t feeling it. Hit the jump to see his opinion.

“It’s the rebirth of Mannie Fresh. It’s busy for me.” Busy would be an understatement. This Big Tymer confirms working on projects for Wiz Khalifa and Mos Def [Yasim Bey]. “We just tweekin’ the songs,” Mannie says about Mos’ album but, overall the songs are DONE. What most of us want is that Hot Boys reunion (although BG can’t physically be involved). “It’s a possibility,” Mannie says about the collaborations. “We are on negotiation terms…so, now we jus’ gettin’ the paperwork [ready],” he adds.
