NBA: Kevin Durant To Roll With Extra Security In His Return To OKC Tonight

image via: youtube Kevin Durant makes his highly anticipated return to Oklahoma City tonight, which is sure to be must see TV. He will walk into the arena wearing colors of the opponent and will spend time in the visitors locker room for the first time ever. It is sure to be a surreal feeling for him and the longtime Thunder fans and just in case some of those fans are a little too rowdy, Durant took the advice of Rich Paul and Lebron James and decided to bring extra security with him.

There’s some discrepancy as to who Russell Westbrook was talking about at the end of the Golden State Warriors 121-100 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.  While walking off the court, Westbrook was filmed telling one of his teammates, “Don’t say wassup to that b-tch a– n-gga.”  Some people think he was talking about Kevin Durant, his former teammate who left him to join the Warriors.  When asked after the game if he and Durant are on speaking terms, Westbrook simply replied, “Nah.”  Other people think he’s talking about Zaza Pachulia, who earlier in the game committed a hard foul, pushing Westbrook to the ground and then standing over him.  When asked about Pachulia, Westbrook vowed to get revenge.  So who do you think he’s talking about?


NBA: Lebron & KD Lead Early All-Star Voting But There Is One Huge Surprise With The Votes

Lebron James and Kevin Durant lead their respective conferences in voting, with guys like Kyrie Irving, Steph Curry, James Harden and Russell Westbrook following closely behind. One name fans definitely didn’t expect to see is Warriors center, Zaza Pachulia, coming in right behind Durant with the second most votes among all frontcourt players in the west.

Golden State Warriors and their fans were fuming at two major missed calls during the last two minutes of their big game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Christmas Day.  In the league two minute report, it shows that the Cavs indeed benefitted from two missed calls in their 109-108 win over the Warriors.

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors gave us a Christmas present yesterday with the game of the season and a possible NBA Finals preview.  These two teams have battled each other in the last two championships, but they gave us a reminder of why we want the trilogy.  In the Cavs 109-108 win, LeBron James clocked in a double-double of 31 points, and 13 rebounds, along with four assists, and Kyrie Irving hit the game-winner to finish with 25 points, 6 rebounds, and 10 assists, but Richard Jefferson had a memorable night as well with these two big dunks.

A video of Russell Westbrook sprinting into the team’s tunnel toward the locker room was posted to Twitter by the Thunder’s official account.  As Westbrook made his way off the court he yelled “thank you” to someone.  The video began to spread on social media and many people believed Westbrook was shouting thank you to Cleveland Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving, who hit a game-winning shot to defeat Westbrook’s former teammate Kevin Durant and his new team, the Golden State Warriors.  Westbrook, however, denies that’s what he said.
