(Video) NBA: Richard Jefferson Turns Back the Clock With Dunks on Kevin Durant & Klay Thompson!

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors gave us a Christmas present yesterday with the game of the season and a possible NBA Finals preview.  These two teams have battled each other in the last two championships, but they gave us a reminder of why we want the trilogy.  In the Cavs 109-108 win, LeBron James clocked in a double-double of 31 points, and 13 rebounds, along with four assists, and Kyrie Irving hit the game-winner to finish with 25 points, 6 rebounds, and 10 assists, but Richard Jefferson had a memorable night as well with these two big dunks.

(Video) NBA: Russell Westbrook Denies Yelling ‘Thank You Kyrie,’ Saying ‘F–k do I look like?!’

A video of Russell Westbrook sprinting into the team’s tunnel toward the locker room was posted to Twitter by the Thunder’s official account.  As Westbrook made his way off the court he yelled “thank you” to someone.  The video began to spread on social media and many people believed Westbrook was shouting thank you to Cleveland Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving, who hit a game-winning shot to defeat Westbrook’s former teammate Kevin Durant and his new team, the Golden State Warriors.  Westbrook, however, denies that’s what he said.

NBA: Kevin Durant FINALLY Admits His Real Height

Since 2007 when he entered the NBA, Kevin Durant has been listed as 6’9.  It’s been clear that he’s taller than that, especially when standing next to 7-footers, but he refused to reveal his true height.  Finally, he gave in.

(Video) NBA: Draymond Green Calls Celtics Fans “Desperate” After They Booed Kevin Durant All Night

Draymond Green didn’t make any friends in Boston last night as the Warriors easily took care of the Celtics. The crowd booed Kevin Durant everytime he touched the ball and even during interviews, showing they are still salty he decided not to go there this summer during his free agency. For his part, KD wasn’t even bothered by it because he could care less but Draymond ripped into the fans after the game, going as far as to say they may even scare future free agents away.

NBA: Kevin Durant Wanted to be No. 1 Pick & Play With Blazers Until Sonics Traded Ray Allen

During the infamous 2007 NBA Draft, the Portland Trail Blazers chose Greg Oden with the No. 1 pick, while the Seattle Supersonics drafted Kevin Durant with the No. 2 pick.  Because of injuries Oden never got to live out the high expectations many had for him, and Durant went on to become one of the top 5 players in the NBA.  Now of course in hindsight Durant should’ve been the No. 1 pick and he definitely wanted to be, but he eventually was glad to be chosen by Sonics instead.

NBA: Kevin Durant Sticks Up for Greg Oden, Calls Bust Talk ‘Nonsense’

Greg Oden was taken No. 1 in the 2007 NBA Draft, and Kevin Durant was selected as the No. 2 pick.  Oden was believed to be a future Hall of Famer and the next Shaquille O’Neal, but multiple knee injuries kept him sidelined and in five seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers he only played 82 games.  Durant, on the other hand, has grown to be one of the biggest stars in the league.  Oden recently called himself one of the biggest busts in NBA history, but his draftmate Durant doesn’t agree.

NBA: Klay Thompson on if He’s in a Shooting Slump Because of Kevin Durant

Golden State star Klay Thompson previously said he was ‘not sacrificing sh-t,’ and isn’t changing his game with the addition of Kevin Durant, who left the Oklahoma City Thunder in free agency this summer to join the Warriors.  Despite Thompson’s previous claims, he’s opened the season with a shooting slump and many people are wondering if it had anything to do with the acquisition of Durant.
